What Are Campus Codes?
Kinesiology students are considered Main Campus students. If you are interested in taking an online course, you must look at the campus code of that course to determine if the course is available to Distance Learning Students or Main Campus Students. You can find this information in the Campus column when registering for classes. If the class is for Distance Learning Students, it will say Online Distance in the Campus column. If the class is an online class for Main Campus students, it will say Online Main Campus in the Campus column.
In addition to campus code restrictions, some sections of classes have a program code restriction. These restrictions limit enrollment to students in a specific major. These courses may not have a note under them, but when registering, you may receive an error message that says “the campus code attached to your program of study prevents you from registering for this class”. If you receive a program code restriction message, this means that this particular section of that course is for majors of that degree program only. You will need to choose a different section or find another course to take.
